What happens during an EIS scan?
At the start of your first UpLevel consultation our team will get an understanding of your current lifestyle routines and overall health goals. We will then conduct an Electro Interstitial Scan (EIS) which measures the interstitial fluid in your body.
Interstitial fluid bathes all the cells of the tissues that make up your organs plus it provides cells with oxygen and important nutrients. By analyzing the fluid the scan can provide health parameters related to your current state.

The EIS scan takes a few minutes, during which electrodes are placed on your forehead while you sit with your hands and bare feet on the scan plates. Our team will review the results and combined with the information discussed during your consultation, we will create a health plan that uniquely fits your needs and goals.
A few things to keep in mind:
The EIS unit is highly sensitive biofeedback machine; if you routinely experience cold hands or feet, please let us know so we can prepare to warm them prior to beginning the scan. A pulse oximeter is used during the scan and resins used in acrylic, gel and dip nails inhibit feedback reception and must be removed prior to scanning. Traditional nail polish does not interfere with the pulse oximeter. |
